# Pricing

> Plans, limits, and what each tier unlocks

Model Diplomat has four tiers: **Free**, **Pro**, **Diplomat**, and **Enterprise**. Each tier unlocks more usage, better models, and more advanced capabilities. Pricing philosophy is simple: every tier is genuinely useful, and paid tiers primarily unlock **more usage** and **Deep Research** rather than locking core features behind a paywall.

Limits like "\~10 searches/day" are **soft, invisible caps** — Claude/ChatGPT-style. You won't see a counter ticking down; you'll just see a message if you've hit the wall for the day.

## Free

The acquisition tier. Generous enough that casual users get real value — 10 searches a day is plenty for occasional research, and all courses are accessible (one lesson per day to build a daily-return habit). Models are budget-tier but genuinely useful.

## Pro

The obvious upgrade for active users. Priced in line with ChatGPT Plus and Perplexity Pro. Unlocks frontier models, \~50 searches/day (most users never hit the ceiling), unlimited course lessons, cross-thread memory, and 10 Deep Research queries per month.

## Diplomat

For power users — policy researchers, journalists, professional delegates. \~200 searches/day (effectively unlimited), unlimited Deep Research, best-in-class models including reasoning models, extended memory, PDF/Word export for papers and speeches, and priority access.

## Enterprise

Contact sales. API access with usage-based billing, SSO, team management, shared workspaces, webhooks, bulk export, and SLAs. Built for institutions and organizations with real scale.
