# Learn Overview

> Courses, lessons, daily challenges, and certificates — all in one place

The Learn section is Model Diplomat's structured education platform. It's built like Duolingo meets a university course — short, interactive lessons organized into courses, with XP, streaks, and certificates to keep you motivated.

## What's in Learn?

## Course categories

Model Diplomat offers courses across 11 categories:

## How XP works

Every action in Learn earns you XP (experience points):

| Action                    | XP                                  |
| ------------------------- | ----------------------------------- |
| Completing a lesson       | 10–50 XP (depends on lesson length) |
| Perfect score on a lesson | Bonus XP                            |
| Daily challenge           | 15–30 XP                            |
| Completing a course       | Bonus XP + certificate              |
| Maintaining a streak      | Daily bonus XP                      |

XP accumulates across your account and determines your level and rank on the [Community Leaderboard](/community/leaderboard).

## Getting started

    Browse all available courses. If you're new to MUN, the **MUN Mastery** curriculum is the best starting point.

  <Step title="Pick a course and start the first lesson">
    Click into any course and start from the beginning. Lessons unlock sequentially — complete the first to unlock the second.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Come back daily for the Daily Challenge">
    Each day a new Daily Challenge drops. Completing it keeps your streak alive and earns extra XP.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Earn your certificate">
    Finish all lessons in a course to unlock your completion certificate.
  </Step>
